Following the opening of GMP’s new flagship custody suite in Longsight, we want to hear from you! 

Our community open day earlier this month was a huge success, with hundreds of local residents visiting Longsight Police Station and taking a tour of our flagship custody suite.

Custody processed 43 detainees in the first 24 hours of opening, for a range of offences. A managed capacity was set for the opening day to ensure all processes, systems and staffing levels were operating effectively, and this was successfully met.
